  • Homelessness or Housing Insecurity
  • Individuals who are:
    • Veterans, 
    • Seniors (65+), 
    • Individuals with disabilities 
    • Other marginalized populations.
  • Proof of Monthly Income

Aligned Purpose Community Living is an Independent Living Program (ILP) that connects individuals in need of housing placement with safe and structured housing opportunities. Combining the Co-Living model with housing insecure individuals and marginalized populations. 

Aligned Purpose Community Living offers an affordable co-living program under a member agreement, without the hassle of rental requirements and expenses. Our homes have 24- hour security cameras, secure access and member rules to ensure the safety and respect to others. All utilities are included, weekly cleaning is provided, and all of our homes are fully furnished. 


We do NOT provide any personal care services, and we are NOT considered a shelter or a group home.

Our private rooms are an option but have limited availability.

Our company is considered an Independent Living Program (ILP), we provide stable housing to housing insecure individuals. Our main focus is geared towards connecting marginalized populations with opportunities to utilize our homes however we do NOT discriminate against our applicants or members. We do however prioritize certain populations who typically face difficulties with traditional housing opportunities. We operate under a specific culture to protect the safety of our members and the properties we utilize.


We are NOT:

  • A licensed group home, personal care home, assisted living facility or nursing home. Our program only focuses on housing individuals. This is the only service we provide, some of our members may receive other care or case management services however, these services are NOT offered directly through our program. 
  • A boarding or rooming house, shelter, half-way house or a sober living home. These specific housing models or service providers operate under specific regulations, qualifications and staffing requirements. The number of members we accept into our homes are limited in order to follow local ordinance codes for occupancy and to ensure member safety. We have program members not tenants and we DO NOT PROVIDE MEALS. Although, we do not allow drug and alcohol use at our properties, we do not operate as a sober living home.
